Mirus 2018 Year In Review

Posted by Leslie

Find me on:

2018 was a busy year for Mirus. We welcomed new clients and worked with many of our existing customers on exciting new integration projects.

New Clients

  • Sprinkles Cupcakes
  • Kind Hospitality (Multi-brand)
  • Ansara (Multi-brand)
  • Wild Bull Services
  • Ciccio's Restaurant Group

Development

The development team worked hard this year updating and streamlining our solutions. New features and functions allow for more personalization and improved workflows. We added chart drilling, enhanced dashboard performance, upgraded XLS processing and unveiled Dimension Maintenance 3.0.

We’re even testing out the possibilities of AI technology. Soon you'll be able to get restaurant performance information simply by asking smart devices like Amazon Alexa, "Hey Alexa, open Mirus."

User Conference

In October we held our annual Mirus User Conference (MCON) in Houston. It was our first time to hold the conference in our own backyard instead of Las Vegas. Being in our hometown meant much more interaction between ALL members of the Mirus team and our clients. The conference included training, in-depth engagement activities, panel discussions and presentations. MCON attendees learned new insights from their client peers presentations by Taco Mac, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants and Sizzler. (Get a full MCON recap here)

Employee News

Staff-wise, we made additions to our integrations & account management teams. We welcomed back one of our account managers, Anna Shah. Kadiata "Jet" Diop, joined the integrations team. And at the very end of the year we welcomed our newest account manager, Jeanetta Marigny. These new additions to our team will help ensure our clients are well taken care of and that integration and other projects are completed in a timely manner.

As we wrap up 2018 we are grateful for the opportunities we've had to serve our clients. We look forward to staying on the leading edge of data analytics, strengthening our current relationships and engaging with other restaurant executives looking to improve their data management and reporting capabilities.
