Mirus is excited to announce the latest update to the Mirus Mobile App- Version 8.12! The Mirus Mobile App delivers powerful restaurant reporting insights right in the palm of your hand. This release introduces a refreshed look and feel, powerful new report interaction capabilities, an improved chart experience, and stronger data access controls- all designed to help you get even more value from your data while on the go. Version 8.12 Updates

The Version 8.12 mobile release includes these exciting updates:

• Refreshed visual design

• Dark mode 

• Drill Down / Drill Expand

Refreshed Visual Design

The Mirus Mobile App has received a comprehensive visual redesign. 

You'll notice:

• An updated color palette
• Modern typography
• Cleaner spacing
• Refreshed buttons, cards, and navigation elements

Dark & Light Mode

Experience Mirus Mobile in a whole new light- or lack thereof. 

Dark Mode is now available and can be enabled in the menu options or settings. Whether you prefer a brighter interface or a darker display for low-light environments, you now have the flexibility to choose. 

Drill Down & Drill Expand

You can now drill directly into your report data from the mobile app. 

Simply short-press on any Dimension to access Drill Down or Drill Expand options. This gives you the same powerful data exploration capabilities you're used to in the desktop application- right from your phone or tablet.

If you do not see the drill paths you're expecting, please contact your Mirus Site Administrator. 

Favorites Section

Reports you mark as Favorites in the desktop application now display correctly in the mobile app- both in the Favorites section and within their assigned groups. Your most important reports are always easy to access. 

Enhanced Chart Experience

Charts in Version 8.12 are more interactive, responsive, and optimized for mobile use. 

Enhancements include:

• Responsive resizing across devices and orientations

• Smoother touch interactions, including pinch-to-zoom and panning
• Better-positioned legends and tooltips for smaller screens
• Chart labels (show/hide) that reflect desktop configuration settings
• Improved bullet chart rendering for smoother performance
• Chart measure names that no longer display numeric suffixes in labels, tooltips, or legends

These updates ensure your visual data is clear, accurate, and easy to analyze-even on smaller screens. 

Seamless Experience

In 2025 the entire mobile application got a complete update. The Mirus Mobile App is now powered by AG Grid, just like our main application. This means users will enjoy a consistent experience across platforms. Our clients love the access the mobile app gives their managers who are out in the field. The mobile app is fully responsive, allowing users to view it in both portrait and landscape modes. Charts are always displayed in landscape for optimal viewing. 

New features for the mobile app include:

• Login
• Report List
• Report View
• Font Size
• Column Widths
• Density

Mirus Mobile Login

The Mirus Mobile login screen now includes the option to enable biometrics (fingerprint/face recognition). This option allows users to login to Mirus using the same biometric as their smartphone after saving their password. 

Report List

Report groups are now available in the mobile app. The report groups are assigned through the application and cannot be changed in the mobile application at this time. The Report List allows users to sort and search by report number or name.  Users can also expand or collapse any report group they want to view. Users will only see report groups that have mobile enabled reports. 

Report View

Since the mobile app is now using AG Grid just like our application, Users can now access features through mobile like:

• Sparklines
• Conditional Logic
• Total Lines
• Font Control
• Group Headers
• Charts

Font Size

In the mobile app, users can adjust the font size so you can see more data on the screen. Font sizes between 5 and 25 are available. 

         

Column Width

There are two ways to adjust column widths in the mobile app. 

1. Drag the column to make it wider or thinner.
2. Select the 3-line icon in the column, and select either Autosize This Column or Autosize All Columns.
   
       
   

Density

To reduce excess padding on a mobile report, users can change the density of the report. Density options include Standard, Condensed, and Compressed. In the example below, we selected compressed allowing more rows to be displayed on the screen. 

Enabling Mobile Reports

Users can enable/disable reports owned by them for mobile simply by selecting the report on the report list and clicking the Mobile Settings icon. For other users to see the report in the mobile app, the report has to be shared with them or a user group to which they belong.
